- WILPC: Henry Holst – Property at Red House has sold. Will possibly be subdivided on Maybank? So far has met all requirements.
Mayor comments that an attempt was made to get approval to develop The Bolt Property by a perspective buyer. Possible intent was to make a wedding venue? Request was denied by County.

Flood Ordinance 2124 second Reading. Mayor reads for the record:
Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Citizens of the Town to have an updated Ordinance for the management of the flood hazard areas in the Town in order for the citizens of the Town to be able to receive federal flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program and to receive discounts thereto as a result of the participation by the Town in the Community Rating System. Whereas Charleston County rate maps have been updated by FEMA into a County wide format which provides more accurate risk data then was previously available. Whereas as the environment changes rising flood waters due to sea level rise and outdated or incomplete drainage systems is a growing concern. This Ordinance takes strides to reduce flooding risk in adaptive and innovative ways to protect citizens. Town Council finds it in the public interest and a benefit to the general health, safety, and welfare of residents of this Town to adopt this Ordinance.

Mayor spoke with Joel Evans regarding Adams Residence. County to declare it a wasting home. Town to adopt County Ordinance to allow this procedure to move forward An oral declaration of the County Building code Section and Code Number will signify intent. Mayor reads as follows:
Proposed Ordinance: We the Town of Rockville adopt Section 4-28 clause 113.2.4 of the Charleston County Building Code in order to allow the County to enter our Municipality and help to manage what is an unsafe home which is the Property know as the Adams Residence.
New Business:
MASC Workers Comp audit. Clerk to call CDH Tree Service to obtain COI.
Rockville certifies its own Election. Voting record as supplied by County is submitted to Mrs. Linton and Mrs. Smith who in turn writes a letter to certify. This letter must be hand delivered. Rockville is one of 3 Municipalities in the State that does it this way. Mayor proposes that The Town take themselves out of the process and allow the County to handle going forward (like the rest of the State does it) Must pass an Ordinance to allow the County to certify.
Mayor motions to adopt an Ordinance to allow the County to certify The Town of Rockville’s elections. Seconded by Zach Nelson. Unanimously approved.
