- WILPC: Henry Holst – Ms. Kelley has let WILPC that the Point Farms Mitigation has been approved by County Council.
New Business:
For the record, the Mayor wrote a check to the DRB secretary Olivia Condon for her services on 3/23 Check number 1325 for $250.00. Motion to ratify was unanimously approved.
Web hosting bill is due Click Communications – $520
Road Maintenance bill for CDH is due – $1250. They will be cutting down previously discussed tree next.
Old Business:
Scott Bennett, District Operations Manager of BEC, has added to the BEC Agenda the Town desire to have the power lines buried. Will be called on in 4-6 weeks approximately.
Mayor completed workers comp audit form for the ongoing audit for the Bittingham Group.
Regarding the abandoned/broken down boat in the Bohicket – the mayor has reached out to the Liaison in Senator Graham’s office and is waiting for a response.
STR Ordinance is held up waiting for Planning to approve.
Point Farm Resolution was reviewed by Council – The Town resolved to support the County’s position regarding the lawsuit that the Point Farms Investors LLC has filed alleging a taking and an assault on their right to due process. The group wishes to change Ag 15 and Ag 3 allowing for additional development. Mayor motioned to adopt presented statement. Frank Thornhill seconded. Unanimously approved. Clerk to add Town address to letter. Council to send a copy to each member of County Council and WILPC.
Road maintenance is ongoing, with Rockland soon to be upgraded by the County, CDH can focus on SIYC Road and other areas.
