OLD BUSINESS: Everyone seems to be happy about the speed bump, 2 members of the community have voiced concerns about the humps not being conspicuous enough. The solution to the problem is to put reflective strips on the poles (front and back) to make the signs more visible. Town Business set to figure out the price for the reflective strips and get the problem fixed. A traffic cone will be placed on the speed bump for Regatta. P.M Kings/Carroll’s (fall) store will be opening soon. Insurance is paid. Sea Island Yacht club and Rockland roads need work but it has been to wet to do anything, some water is draining, some is at a standstill. When we get a break from the rain, we may be able to get work done before Regatta. Rockville Regatta will be August 4th through the 6th. We need to get Dink to work on the road for a temporary fix before Regatta. Rockland Rd for 2-3 months.

CONDOLENCES: The Town would like to offer its heartfelt condolences to the Whaley Family as regards to the passing of “Ben” Whaley. His service and dedications as member of the towns planning committee was a great attribute to the town; he will be greatly missed.
