2023-2024 Budget needed to complete audit. Actual numbers are available as the year has already passed. Technically a retroactive budget. Clerk to submit to auditors. Budget distributed to Council. Mayor proposes budget be adopted. Seconded by Henry Holst. Unanimously approved. Mayor notes that professional fees may increase with upcoming Historical Preservation Ordinance.
Check due to CDH $2700 for material and labor for Grace Chapel.

- WILPC: Henry Holst – No update on proposed skiing facility on Wadmalaw. Many residents wrote in to express their opposition. No one has offered a favorable opinion
Old Business:
Roads: Ongoing – most recently work has been completed on Grace Chapel, shell sand added. Padded over some roots near Fowler property. Whit Smith comments that Dale Blessing – engineer -is happy to look at the roads, shoot grades and offer suggestions regarding drainage issues. Goal is to raise the roads ultimately. Chip Linton mentions culverts might be needed.
New Business:
Howlett’s plan to have an April 2025 wedding at the Hall. Using Marque Limo for transportation. Initial party bus submitted for approval is too large to deliver people all the way to the Hall, however Mayor suggested that the large bus can off let people at the intersection of Maybank and Yacht Club Rd. Golf carts can shuttle guest from there. Some smaller buses will also be utilized. Mayor motions to allow the small buses to ingress and egress to the Yacht Club and larger buses to be allowed to off let people at the intersection of Maybank and Yacht Club Rd. Seconded by Henry Holst. Unanimously approved.
